Description

Melanotan 2 is a synthetic analogue of alpha-MSH, which belongs to the class of cyclic heptapeptides that bind to the melanocortin receptors such as MC1R, MC3R, MC4R, and MC5R. Due to this feature, Melanotan 2 is widely used as a peptide for experimental research into the biological processes associated with the melanocortin receptor system.
